BUSTED!

Everyone knows that Jake is very particular about who he choses to let near him. It took years for Dad Drueke to make it in his circle (my dad still hasn't made the cut) and now they're quite chummy. Here is some evidence that Jake doesn't really hate Veronica as much as he wants us to believe. It is unbelievably difficult to photograph Jake, and flash is not an option, hence the dark photos. It took him two and a half weeks to allow her in for a snuggle, but I think he likes it. Last week they finally started playing. She likes to charge him anywhere they are and finally he gave in. I saw his tail wagging so I didn't defend him. They were at it for about ten minutes and my heart melted. This pack is finally back and getting stronger. They now play every day, sometimes a couple of times a day and it's so great. The only problem is that he gets his slobber all over her and she is starting to smell like bad breath. Good thing she's small enough to toss in the bathtub.
