Spread the joy!
Only 112 days left until Christmas! We're still trying to figure out if our annual trip to Miami is going to happen after all, since the governor just announced a $6M budget cut for my employer. We're not sure it makes sense to just drop about a thousand bucks on travel. I am thankful that we have great friends and family that have made the journey to visit us this year and hope they all understand if we don't return the favor just yet. This also means that our 5-year anniversary trip that we started planning last night will also be scrapped. Normally I would use this as an excuse to start drinking, but I can't even do that now because of my medication.

I'm sorry you hate it. I do too. My mom consoled me yesterday. Apparently she KNOWS that everything will be okay. We had some really good ideas that included far away tropical destinations, but Chris really really really wants to get Las Vegas and LA out of my system so the plan was to spend 2 days at a RIDICULOUS 5-star resort in LV like Caesar's Palace and spend one day at the pool and another day at the Grand Canyon and Hoover dam, then drive to LA and go on some Hollywood tours and eat at the Ivy or Koi. We would do Hawaii or Alaska another year. But none of that matters, since we aint going no where!
Chris hasn't told the band yet. So you don't know anything. :/
Aint nothin' wrong with a quiet holiday at home, sipping spiked cider by the fireside with the dogs curled up near-by.
