This weekend

• It slightly rained due to a very lazy tropical storm Hanna
• Chris did homework from dawn to dusk (shocker). Only 977 days until graduation!
• I window shopped online for bedding (currenlty in love with Simply Shabby Chic at Target but Chris favors less flowers and less pink)
• Reserved a rental car for two weeks in December (Miami? Nashville? Grand Canyon? Haven’t decided yet.)
• Got trashed on mimosas at brunch at Margie’s
• Accidentally knocked things off the shelves at Staples (see above)
• Prayed for Cristina and Tony, who have very exciting news, but still need good vibes sent their way
• My car died - not only was the "check engine" light on, but it was blinking furiously, the car was shaking and there was smoke and stink coming from under the hood (this sucks like you have no idea)
• Set the VCR to record Mad Men (yes I still have a VCR and videotapes. I realize that DVR is only $10 a month, but we're NOT MADE OF MONEY!)
• Woke up too damn early to get dropped off at work too damn early
